Caley, Albert F. (Albert Francis), 1884-1975

Caley, a native of Lorain County, Ohio, moved to Dallas County, Alabama, in 1920 to raise dairy and beef cattle. In 1935 he discovered that a wild legume growing in Alabama (Lathyrus Hirsutus) made an excellent feed. He wrote unpublished novels, short stories and poetry, as well as many letters to editors.
